Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Commercial Real Estate Associate to join our team. As an associate, you will gain hands-on experience in property and business transactions, develop a robust understanding of the market, and build essential skills in business development, client management, financial analysis, and strategic negotiation.
Duties/Essential Functions
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, property values, and competitive landscapes to support senior agents and clients.
- Business Development: Proactively seek new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach. Support the team in identifying potential clients and nurturing relationships that lead to new property listings, business dispositions, or other partnerships.
- Client Engagement: Assist in cultivating client relationships by participating in meetings, property tours, and follow-ups to address client needs.
- Transaction Support: Collaborate on the preparation of property listings, marketing materials, and proposals. Help manage the documentation and compliance requirements for real estate transactions.
- Property Tours and Showings: Coordinate and participate in property tours, showcasing commercial spaces to prospective clients.
- Financial Analysis Assistance: Work with senior agents to perform basic financial modeling and prepare reports that include key investment metrics like net operating income, cap rates, etc.
- Administrative Tasks: Support the team with various administrative duties, including data entry, CRM management, and schedule coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong interest in commercial real estate and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a proactive approach to building relationships.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
